I've been visiting my daughter in her new home in Norbury,
reaching her from here via the M23/A23 (on which speed cameras sprout
like weeds) and yesterday drove, to visit my son, from Norbury up the
A23 to where it joins the South Circular, and thence on, via the dreaded
Wandsworth, to Putney. En route I observed at least a dozen unfortunate
motorists caught in box junctions, and reflected on all those PCNs at
£120 each that would be landing on doormats in the forthcoming 10 days.
As I waited at several for the route ahead to be clear, I was
aggressively hooted at from behind a number of times.
