The Motorists Legal Challenge Fund
PO Box 62228
London N8 1AG
If you require a receipt please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
If you have a choice, bear in mind that making a payment by cheque or bank transfer does mean that we receive all of your donation because we avoid paying the commission charges for credit and debit card transactions.
What Will Happen to My Money?
The Fund's bank account has been set up by means of a formal Escrow Agreement which, in legal terms, means "money, goods or a written document, held by a trusted third party, pending the fulfilment of some condition."
The Trustees and Agents of this fund are Lord Lucas and Tom Conti. All payments from your contributions for the costs of legal preparation and representation, and the administration and promotion of the Fund must first be approved by the Trustees.
The Fund has a Steering Committee that will evaluate and recommend to the Trustees any legal proceedings that are appropriate in furtherance of the objectives of the Fund: 'Seeking justice for the motoring public'. Anyone can apply.
Quote of the Month
Lord Lucas had this to say about decriminalised traffic enforcement:
"It is something that seems to me to be close to theft and it probably would be adjudged as theft if one could ever get it to court."
So, now we have got it to court. Your donation will ensure we prove him right.
